I am almost certain that there is no age limit to writing to Santa…especially if you believe….and I do believe. What I mean….is that Christmas…it’s the time for hopes…dreams…wishes and the oh so much needed miracle. So much so that sometimes….even “grown-ups”…need an outlet to pour their heart out to….let their guard down…and frankly just speak from the heart….on whatever is weighing on them….so with that and the timing of Christmas….why not put it all in writing…. so here you have it…my letter to Santa.
Dear Santa…
I feel very compelled….this Christmas season to write this letter to you. To open up my heart and pour out my soul…I feel this way because this year has been such a trying time for so many in this world. For me….my family….friends…coworkers and so many others that I have never even met.
Dear Jolly ‘Ol Soul…..I feel that you already know what I want to say…because…I know that you know…what I’m already thinking. But do you really know how grateful that I am for what I already have…you see…I want nothing for me….no, to say the least…but for the one’s so near and dear to me. It saddens me to see the different obstacles that continue to creep into the lives of the ones that I love…that work so hard for what matters the most in their lives…just to be let down again…I have learned that things happen for a reason and that timing is everything…but for so many…the disappointments can be very overwhelming.
Oh…dear St.Nick….a man of many travels….always there to add “Christmas Cheer”…..and thankfully there to lend an ear. In my eyes….you’re a “mystery-man” of sorts…being able to bring joy…to all that still believe. So with that being said…..in the new coming year…..please bless the family in my life that is so desperately longing for the “pitter-patter” of little feet. For the ones that are patiently waiting for the “right” job to come along……for answering the prayers that so many pray…..I ask this of you…..Santa, my dear.
Dear Santa…please know…..how happy I am to have a home…..my health….a job…..family and friends…..this really should be enough…and it really….truly is. It’s just that this…holiday season…isn’t about me at all…..it’s about so much more.
If I can have one wish granted at all it would be to grant the wishes of the people that need it the most….so dear Santa…..I ask you to look deep into your red Christmas bag and spread your “magic dust” where it’s needed the most.
Oh, Santa…while writing to you…I realize how really real you just might be…..because dear man….you are to me. I have come to learn…that those that know….really do believe.
Christmas time….a time for caring…sharing…laughter and love. But so many do forget the reason behind it all.
Dear Santa….my friend,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart…for taking the time to hear me out….for accepting me….for me….and putting my mind at ease….because I know that in my heart of hearts….the wishes that I’ve asked for….for so many others will one day come true.
