Three Facts About Me
- I am huge music lover…but primarily 70s and country music….depending upon the mood that I’m in. My son has told me on multiple occasions that I’m stuck in the 70s. Well…all I have to say about that is….having grown up in the 70s…there are far worse places to be! 🙂
- Mexican food….oh and cupcakes…this is a weakness beyond all weakness that I have. It’s true…I could easily eat chips and salsa on a daily basis…and throw you in a cupcake a time or two…well..that won’t hurt either!
- Family First……this really should explain it all. My family will and does come before anything else in my life…no questions asked.
Questions From April
- Do you encourage others to help minimize the use of plastic to protect our environment? Sadly, I don’t…but I recycle like crazy at my house.
- Have you traveled somewhere and been surprised at what it feels like to arrive in that place? Yes, just this past October 2019..my husband and I traveled with our RV to Colorado Spring, Colorado for a week. I have never experienced “real snow” since I grew up in Houston, Texas. Well, it snowed the entire trip and it was the very best experience ever.
- Do you have a story to tell? In what way you will inspire children? I do have a story to tell and I do so in every post that I write. It all comes from my heart and I hope that this would all reflect on anyone reading it.
- Do you prefer one season over another when traveling? Not really….just getting away from it all…is all that matters to me!
- Is there anything about yourself that you question and or is it a mystery to you? What is it? No, not really….I’m an open book.
Questions By Lina
- Why did you decide to start your blog? I’ve always had a knack for writing..and have “dabbled” in it since I was a teenager…but I have just never followed through with it until March 2019. This is when the official wheels in my head started turning and my blogging mission was set in motion.
- What is the best tip you learned as a blogger? Hands down..to not be so hard on me while starting my blog. It was very stressful right at first…and I would get a bit frustrated. But once I realized…“I’m Only Human” I cut myself some slack..and the pressure lifted.
- What’s a great book you read recently? I love…love…love…to read, but must confess that it has been quite a while since a picked up a good book to read.
- Who was your favorite teacher and why? Well…there are two actually… that would be my 3rd-grade teacher, Miss Theiss…and my 4th-grade teacher, Miss Schultz I was in awe of them both. They were two of the nicest and kindest teachers that I have ever know. They were always so helpful and understanding and very patient. They both left a huge impression in my life.
- What would the world be like if it was filled with male and female copies of you? (weird question) Ha! Now, that’s a funny question. But here is my truthful answer. First of all…I’m OCD, but not to the extreme….so the world would be very clean and organized. But more importantly…I despise confrontation…so everyone would get along! 🙂
