Our entire life is an open book….okay…maybe not as open as others might be…..but none the less…..an open book….just the same. Our lives are filled with multiple chapters….some chapters are much shorter….or even longer than others. With all of the chapters combining into one lovely book…..called you.
Each chapter consists of lessons learned….lessons taught….lives we’ve loved….and loves we’ve lost…..In other words……Life.
Our story…..our lives…..we all have a purpose….experiences to be learned….and shared….we will make all of this and so much more in each and every chapter of our lives. Some chapters may not be all that it’s cracked up to be…..but it is….what it is…..because as I have said so many other times before….it’s part of our life’s journey.
It’s not all that complex really…but for so many…will make their lives out to be……very complex.
Every Day…..Adds To Each Chapter
Everything that we do and face each and every day….will all become part of only one chapter in our lives. It’s pretty amazing really…for instance….as we are growing up..we are learning….and growing…absorbing all sorts of information…for so many…we will continue to learn and grow until our cup overflows. We all know when one chapter ends and when another one begins. The best part is that throughout our lives…the people most important to us will remain throughout the course of our lives.
People will always come and go into our lives….it’s those relationships….no matter how big…or small that will all become a part of each chapter in our lives. Sometimes….when you feel that a particular relationship has come to an end……..can so very easily come back into our lives when the timing is right…..and the timing of things is always right.
What we all need to remember is that we hold the key to our own happiness….we are in charge of what life has to offer. Oh sure, we will always face obstacles….heartache…disappointment, and more importantly heartbreak….but always remember….Each and every day of our lives…..what we do…..and feel will fill the chapters in our….book of life.….it is only a very small part of the chapters in our life.
Our Family….Our Relationships
Families are number one in lives….are chapters are filled with growing up…learning…wishing and hoping of all of the wonderful things that our future will bring. Each chapter includes school days….parties….friendships…multiple memories that we will tuck away for a rainy day…and maybe…just maybe if we’re lucky…a wonderful childhood memory will make its way into a chapter or two…in our adult years…..this is because….it was meant to happen….meant to be.
The good…the bad….and the ugly…..all of this and so much more will be what bonds our chapters into what is supposed to be at that very moment. We cannot change the chapters of our lives…but we can do what we can…to add joy and happiness. Throughout time we will all experience…happiness….despair….breakups… illness…mistakes….loneliness…and death. But…this is what molds our soul….teaches us to be better…do better and yes…even love better. Because with all of this and so much more….we are writing our chapters…..intertwining our lives and hearts with the people that are meant to cross our paths for a moment or for an eternity.
We Hold The Key
Only you…..hold the key to your past…..present….and future. Letting others in is only up to you….but remember….once they’re in your life and your heart…..they will forever become a part in one or more of the many chapters in your book……your world…..your life.
For me…..I truly believe that there are so many more chapters in my life that have yet to be written…..still so many more lessons for me to learn…..so many more lives to touch mine and me to touch theirs.
I can honestly say….that I crave what life still has to offer me. You my friend…my hope for you….is that the future chapters of your life will exceed you expectations…beyond your wildest dreams.
The world is yours….full of hopes and dreams….and everything in between.
