Love…Or Something Like It
It’s everywhere….it really is….. don’t you know…it’s the love that we feel and the love that we share. Think about it….our lives would be so incomplete….so unfulfilled…so empty….without getting or giving love. It shouldn’t be of any surprise to you….because love…..it is what makes the world go around.
There are so many ways to express your love…..it’s as plain as the nose on your face. It’s not just about the mushy lovey…..dovey…feelings we all get when you first fall in love. Oh no….on the contrary. It’s about the kindness that we show to one another…or the door that is held open for a complete stranger or maybe even when you “pay it forward” to an unsuspecting stranger.
A Little Bit Of Kindness…
You will be amazed at how far…just a little bit of kindness can go. However…so many people just don’t have any idea how to do that….the reason being….in my opinion is that they just don’t have any kindness to share. Maybe…..they themselves are dealing with something in their own private lives preventing this from happening. Possibly having a bad day….under a lot of stress….or maybe just in a bad mood. So….go ahead….turn the tables on them….and brighten their world a bit. Because even a little bit of kindness will go a long way.
It’s How I Was Raised
There are so much anger and negativity in the world today…..and that clearly is a sad state of affairs….because I just wasn’t raised that way….and my kids weren’t raised that way. It’s as if the whole world has lost control of common sense and everything has spiraled out of control. So much so…that the world has seemed to have tilted the opposite direction on its axis and everything is an absolute mess. The year 2020….what a complete whirlwind of negative explosive events…wouldn’t you agree? Killer Bees….more named tropical storms and destructive hurricanes than you can “shake a stick” at…..out of control fires…..riots….and the icing on the cake…. the great pandemic of 2020…COVID 19…….Enough already.
Change Is Good
Change….whether it be good….bad…or indifferent….it is what it is. The world and our lives will never be the same again…..2021 will be a new beginning….full of many, many chapters of our lives to be lived…..but the change….that really needs to happen is the love of one another. There just isn’t enough of it in this world…..and because of this…..people just don’t get along…..this is so very sad….and it breaks my heart. We all live and breathe just the same….so living our lives in harmony….should come easy….but sadly it doesn’t. It really is up to each and every one of us to make the change….be kind to each other….treat everyone the way that you would like to be treated…is that really so hard?
Put A Little Love In Your Heart
Is that too much to ask? No…it really isn’t….but from stubbornness…to unhappiness….and so many other reasons is what is keeping the world from coming together as one. Being happy and simply loving yourself…is where it all begins… it’s as easy as that. But then again….I’m an optimist and believe that all that is good will win in the end.
Love…it really is what keeps the heart beating….I know this…because I live this…. every day. We all love in so many different ways….on so many different levels….for so many different people. I hope that you….feel the same way too.
