December….the busiest month of the year…..at least I think that it is. The hustle and bustle of the holidays are in full swing….colorful lights and decorations are popping up everywhere. Christmas…..Hanukkah….Santa Lucia….Kwanzza….all celebrated by all walks of life…..it is what brings everyone together. The sights…the sounds….the tastes….the love ….the laughter…….as another year ends.
But is’t not all “fun and games”….companies are facing year end….closing out books…preparing for the next year taxes. Simply put….putting a financial lid on the year at hand. The stress of this alone…can effect so many people in so many ways…..many can deal with….make adjustments….get the job done….but many others….allow it to effect their lives….in ways that they cannot take back…..and so…..another year ends.
Reflection
It’s at this time of year…that we all reflect back on what we did and didn’t do throughout the year….and make promises to ourselves…of what we will attempt to complete the following year. When in all reality…..we tend to forget that our lives are a work in progress… that we should just take our time….one day at a time…..because things if life take time. It’s at this time of year…we all should just give thanks for what we have and what we can give to others…..as another year ends.
Slow Your Pace
Rush, rush, rush…..we all move way too fast….realizing, that we’re slowly running out of time to purchase that last minute gift. To try and “out-do” the gift they was given the year before….when, in all reality….it’s really the thought that counts. Shouldn’t this be the time of year that we learn to change our priorites? It absolutely it…..as another year ends.
The Kid In Us All
There is a little kid in all of us….don’t ya think? Santa is always around….year ’round……you just need to know where to look. He is the coworker, that stayed late with you, to help you catch up with your work. He is the neighbor that is always ready to lend a helping hand….he is the police officer….the firefighter….the letter carrier…the grocery store clerk…..and even the waitress that wants to make sure that your order is just right. He…..or….. she….is you and me…..it’s every living soul…..this is truly what the holidays are all about……the caring and sharing of one another……as another year ends.

Never regret…..a moment that you hoped for….but yet you have never had the chance to make happen….because it will one day happen….or maybe a conversation still on the back burner…..simply go for it…..live life to the fullest….you just never know…..when time is no longer at your fingertips…..express your feelings….you will be glad that you did. Oh…the dreaded clock…..ticking away….as another year ends.

Patience….It’s A Virtue
Faith…..Hope….and Love……it’s always in the cards for everyone…..maybe not when we need it….or when we’re looking for it……and most of all when we are asking for it…….but it will be…..you just have to have the patience…..as another year ends.
Keep On Keeping On
We are all a work in process….leaning on each other for one thing or another. Keep your goals in life….easy to reach…..baby steps…..I always say. Keep love in your heart….mind and soul….for all of the good in life will find its way to you.
As we look forward to a brand new year…..thank you for being a part of my life…..my thoughts…..prayers…..and heart. You mean the world to me…more that you’ll ever know…..as another year ends.
