Come on now….let’s face it….what’s the fun in living life healthy anyway? Wouldn’t that really consist of exercising like a fool and eating…..not so appetizing meals? What’s a person to even do about that? Well….hang on a minute…that’s what I’m here for…to set you straight…..in my opinion anyway….about what I think will affect us all…on a day to day basis…..and really learn to love…….Living Life Healthy.
Assess The Weight Situation
Who really likes the dreaded scale anyway…..not me…I will gladly admit. But if you look at your scale as being “your friend” then it won’t be all that bad. I must admit…I climb on board my scale every morning…..and sometimes will complain that “it’s broke” if I gain a pound or two. I probably shouldn’t do that….but I do and it is…what it is. However, every single Monday morning…I will “officially” weigh-in and log it in a journal. For me, personally, it is the perfect way to keep track of my accomplishments. You really should give it a try too….pick up a journal and keep a weekly track of your weigh-in. It will teach you that the scale isn’t all that bad after all….once you see the weight start to drop off…and it will drop off. It will then be all worth it.
But hang on a minute…..we can all be at a healthy weight…that is just right for you and that’s the way it should be. For me personally…I set myself little goals…that were all within reason. Because the very last thing that you want to do is overwhelm yourself with the pressure of losing any humongous about of weight…..oh no….that is way too much stress…..so baby steps…my friend…it’s the only was to go.
Exercise…Or Not To Exercise…..That Is The Question
Living life the healthy way will absolutely include some type of physical activity…wouldn’t you agree? The problem with most people…is that they think you need a gym membership….on the contrary. All that you need is to add a bit of exercise in your life….go for that long walk…not only will it get your heart pumping….it will tone up your legs….and clear your mind. This is hands down the best way to …and best of all…..it’s FREE!
So don’t overwhelm your bank account with all of that “fancy” exercise equipment….ride a bike….take a swim….take an aerobics class….or simply “walk-it-off.” You will be glad that you did.
Work Vs Career…..There Is A Difference
What we do for a living to “earn our keep” should be something that we really love to do….because when that happens…it will become our career and this too falls under living a healthy life. But for so many….” a job” is what is needed to keep food on the table….a roof over their heads….to simply make ends meet. But keep in mind…you don’t need a college degree to have a career that makes you happy…that allows you to be the best that you can be. When you do what you love….then all of the rest will fall into place.
Affairs Of The Heart
Our lives are filled with people that will come and go….many will touch our hearts and then go on along on their merry way….but so many more will stay there for an eternity….and with that…there will never be any looking back. We will never know when…where….how….or why….but different individuals will enter our lives….most when it’s least expected….not only for you…but for them as well. This is because….my friend lessons are being learned….emotional doors are being opened…..but will remain open until…the time is right for them to re-enter….at the right place….and the right time. The hardest part about this is that it can become extremely difficult….when you realize that…..the timing is off. Oh…..affairs of the heart….they work in mysterious ways…..but they will work….it’s always in the cards.
When you think about Living Life Healthy….you may immediately jump to the conclusion that it’s all about what you eat……that my friend is so way off base. Living Life Healthy…..is all of the above……it’s your mind….body….and soul. Because what it all boils down to is what is inside of you…..what makes you the wonderful person that you are.
So go for it my friend…live your life…..work hard every day….take that walk and clear your mind. Eat a little healthier……do what is best for you. But more than that….never forget….that you are always loved.
