From the day that you were born…..the journey begins. It’s a journey that will be filled with love, laughter, sorrow, excitement, anger, happiness and disappointment. These things, plus so many more emotions. But did you know that your life’s journey is already predestined? Well, it is… from beginning to end. It’s what’s in between, that you can change…to a degree.
All of our lives we are learning…always absorbing everything that we can. This is the journey of our lives…..learning and also teaching. As we grow, we are faced with challenges. These challenges are what make us who we are. Just like the roads of a highway, your life will be filled with twists and turns. Some good outcomes and some….well….not so good. But the situation is what we are supposed to go through. It’s how we grow…..how are soul grows.
A Work In Progress
We are all a “work in progress”. No one person or thing is perfect and no matter how hard you try….. it can never be perfect. But, to each other, it can be perfect for that other person. Your entire life is a journey, but there are so many other aspects of your life that are a journey within itself as well.
Education
Aside from learning from our parents….we learn from teachers, professors, counselors, all educators. The educational journey begins in kindergarten, at least it did back before, pre-k and all of those other baby classes, that babies are enrolled in now. Along the educational road that one takes, there are numerous avenues to take in order to build and mold the mind. But it’s up to each individual what path your educational journey will take you.
The Sky is the Limit!
Careers
Your career….it too is a journey. For most the twists and turns, can be mindblowing. The choices are endless and should be explored. But for many, the opportunities pass them by. This really is where the educational and career journies go hand-in-hand. Because of the building blocks and stepping stones to not only a successful career but the career that you’ve longed for….lies in getting the best education possible. This journey can be very tedious and time-consuming. But working hard, you will achieve the career you are destined for!
Friendships and Relationships
Yes, this too is a journey. Sometimes even more difficult than that of education and career. Think about it. You can have friendships at a very young age, and for many people will remain connected to that friendship throughout their entire adulthood. You are there for each other through their journey in life, just as they are in yours. But, friends will come and go in your lifetime. Even for a short period of time. But there really is a reason for this. Some people enter into your life to teach you and for you to teach them. I don’ t mean it literally, I mean that what they and you bring to the relationship, is what is needed for that person and you at that time in their life and in yours.
Even negativity in a friendship or a deeper relationship is what that soul needs to grow, it is part of the journey…..your journey. People come and go in a life span, some stay and some do not. This is how it’s meant to be. The lesson is learned and the friendship or relationship moves on. For many…one will go through many relationships, even the happiest of ones, until two souls finally connect. This is part of the relationship journey.
It’s All About Living…
Life’s journey…it really is about living, loving and soaking in everything that life has to offer. It’s the love, caring, and comfort that we received as a child. It’s what every teacher that came into our lives to mold our minds. We will never learn everything there is to know, but we can take the opportunity to absorb all that we can. Living…it’s lives we touched and touched ours back. It’s the stranger you were kind to…because it was meant to be. Living…it’s mistakes that you make, the hardships you go through, the lives that we lose. It’s all part of the journey called life. Your journey in life is not a destination, but a series of destinations. It’s your journey.
Even the ending of a life is a journey…its the final journey that one takes before crossing over. The transition can sometimes be a long and trying process, but it was meant to be that way for that particular individual. It is, even more, trying for the loved ones, on that journey with them.
Life’s Highway…
